I would be honored to commemorate your furry family member with a hand-drawn portrait! Dog Portraits differ from custom commissions in that the layout is pretty much always the same...head and chest. This allows me to keep my pricing slightly more affordable.
Layouts that are large-scale, more in-depth, have backgrounds, etc. fall under "Commissions". You can find more information under that heading.
Each piece is created with graphite pencil and charcoal on Strathmore Bristol 500, a 100% cotton, acid-free paper. Pieces are spray fixed to prevent smudging and shipped securely to you in a flat mailer. Unframed Pieces ship via Priority Mail 2-3 Day Service (except for the holidays OR when USPS is severely backed up. Then I use FedEx ). Framed pieces ship via Fed Ex.
Visit my Instagram Page (@tliuhaller) for many examples of past portraits I have completed.
If you have further questions or want to ask about the current timeline,
feel free to send me a message!

* I require a 50% deposit per portrait to secure your order and be added to my calendar.
* I work from a photo that you provide. In most cases, one good, clear photo is all I need.
*Additional pets in one drawing are $50 each. (However, please ask about size restrictions per paper size).
* Shipping added onto final balance. Plus tax if in NYS.
If you decide to move forward, just let me know and then send the deposit. Payment can be made via Venmo: @tliuhaller . If you require another payment option just let me know.
Once I start the portrait, I"ll send an email notification, followed by photo updates. I will send a final photo for your approval, then issue a final invoice for the remaining balance and shipping. Once paid, I will ship and forward your tracking number!
I can provide framing services, with either "Art Store" frames or through my professional framer, Four Corners Frame Shop, in Delmar, NY. If using my framer, please expect to allow an additional 2 weeks for custom framing. The former option consists of me matting and framing your drawing with frames bought at Michael's Craft Store. This only requires one extra day prior to shipping your piece. Please feel free to reach out with questions.
I am continually amazed by these organizations that dedicate their time, efforts and resources to saving countless lives. They create a fresh new start for the abandoned, abused, neglected and forgotten.
I am proud to support them and encourage you to check them out!
