I would be honored to commemorate your furry family member with a hand-drawn portrait! Dog Portraits differ from custom commissions in that the layout is pretty much always the same...head and chest. This allows me to keep my pricing slightly more affordable.
Each piece is created with graphite pencil and charcoal on Strathmore Bristol 500, a 100% cotton, acid-free paper. Pieces are spray fixed to prevent smudging and shipped securely to you in a flat mailer. Unframed Pieces ship via Priority Mail 2-3 Day Service (except for the holidays OR when USPS is severely backed up. Then I use FedEx ). Framed pieces ship via Fed Ex.

Unframed:
6 x 6: $175
9 x 12: $250
11 x 14: $400
14 x 17: $550
16 x 20: $700
* I require a 50% deposit per portrait to secure your order and be added to my calendar.
* I work from a photo that you provide. In most cases, one good, clear photo is all I need.
*Additional pets in one drawing are $50 each. (However, please ask about size restrictions per paper size).
* Shipping added onto final balance. Plus tax if in NYS.

Once I start the portrait, I"ll send an email notification, followed by photo updates. I will send a final photo for your approval, then issue a final invoice for the remaining balance (wuth tax if applicable) and shipping. Once paid, I will ship and forward your tracking number!
Framing:
I can provide framing services, with either "Art Store" frames or through my professional framer, Four Corners Frame Shop, in Delmar, NY. If using my framer, please expect to allow an additional 2 weeks for custom framing. The former option consists of me matting and framing your drawing with frames bought at Michael's Craft Store. This only requires one extra day prior to shipping your piece. Please feel free to reach out with questions.
